Elementary Teacher of the Month ✏️

My name is Nancy Curzon. I am from the States. I grew up in Georgia and Colorado. Most of my family still lives in Colorado. However, before moving to Costa Rica I taught for 5.5 years in Kivalina, Alaska. I moved to Costa Rica last year to marry my husband.
I am the only girl in my family. I have 4 brothers and 3 nephews.
A fun fact about me is I visited all 50 states, and 6 countries so far. I love to travel. I travel as much as possible, and have plans to go to Germany and a few other countries next year during our break.
A random fact about me is if I wasn't a teacher I would want to be an artist or make food art.
Here at Blue Valley I teach English to 4A and 6A students. Over my 7 years of teaching I have taught every subject to grades 2-5. I even had to teach electives such as: art, music, pe, and cultural class. Even though I am an English teacher, Science is my favorite subject.

I’m not in the big soccer field, maybe in the front of a building… a bunch of meters away from Sala Magna. I could be a bit close to some tents or maybe around the field. I could be around one of the pick up areas for all the students. Where am I? Maybe around the parking lot…
